I'm a Famous Model

On Saturday, I'm going to be a model in the WMPG fashion show. I'm excited about this for a few reasons:

  • It'll motivate me to get new shoes for my outfit (I'm in charge of accessorizing).
  • I'll get to test my new Spanx. Cassandra at Helton Hill picked me for my brain, not my body (I'm assuming.)
  • A professional will finally be forced to come in and do damage control on the haircut I gave myself about a month ago.
  • Laura from Sweeter Salt is modelling as well. She claims she's pretty clumsy, so she will probably give me a run for my money.
  • WMPG needs our help financially. Even though their pledge drives are way less annoying than MPBN's, successful fundraising events are important.
  • My vast knowledge of the inner workings of Westbrook will be rocked when I discover where the hell/what the hell the Pulse is.
Maybe someone at the Free Press will get wind of this, cover the story, and I will henceforth be known as columnist, prolific blogger and famous model. I'll let you know how it goes, pictures to follow.

This should be fun! But, you are correct. I am wildly clumsy. And I'm wearing 4.5" wood platform heels. And a really short dress. Things should be interesting...

You are totally a Famous Model in my book and wildly funny! I picked you ladies because little pieces of you relate to little pieces of me. Although I love to get dressed up, I am a flower child at heart who makes clothes for real girls to appreciate and love, not specifically for statuesque toothpicks we are taught to worship.
